I have now three sites with eFront. Compared to Moodle it is way easier to setup and configure and the support from the team is just fantastic. The users find it easy to use, you have a better option for a nice front page, better looking icons and a range of additional modules to fit your training needs.

I have been using the free community version and recently upgrades to community ++. I use it on three sites and its simplicity and ease to setup and manage make it a winner. Support is quite good and the community is always active with updates and improvements. I run a site with 1500 registered students taking free courses, most from African and Asian organizations. I recommend the community++ version for its dedicated support and automatic upgrade feature.

Moodle may have all the features you need and more, but mastering them takes a lot of time and effort. eFront gives you all you need to set up an online learning environment with a much better user interface and the option easily to customize the home page.

Easy to use, and exactly what I was looking for. Had a bit of a glitch - you need to create an additional php file for everything to work properly, good instructions on the wiki.
