A useful way to get started with Drupal

Drupal CMS contains a set of best-practice modules and configuration. This saves next hours of work, compared with starting with Drupal Core.

A more user-friendly Drupal starting point

Drupal now has two starting points: 1. Drupal core: Bare bones and flexible CMS aimed at the enterprise professional. Add features with modules. 2. Drupal CMS includes a number of the most common modules to add expected features out of the box. If you are used to Wordpress, start with Drupal CMS. Since the new page building experience is not yet available, Drupal shines if your content is very structured with custom fields. But once Experience Builder is ready later this year, watch out!

At last! Drupal for site builders!

I have been building Drupal sites for many years for nonprofits and while it\'s been possible with a little learning about using the command line and copying a few composer lines (and keeping track of where they are found) it\'s finally matured in the modern form to being able to be installed and extended in the same way as other content management systems. Drupal CMS includes Recipes that install all the modules and best-practice configuration for SEO, webforms and more.

Drupal preconfigured and ready to use

Drupal CMS takes the best parts of Drupal Core, adds some of the most useful contributed modules (extensions/add-ons), and preconfigures everything for you to have a fully functional and goal-oriented site within a few clicks. It can not only save days/weeks of work on a site if you are a developer but also be the one-stop solution for non-developers wanting to get a site for their needs.

Action packed Drupal

Drupal CMS is a great starting package that contains a lot of best practice components on top of Drupal core. It is a much better starting point for Drupal websites. It has better media management, events, improved SEO, better search and even has an AI chatbot built in :)
