I decided to go with this one when I saw my first choice might not be in development anymore. This is a nice, simple blogging system that works out of the box. Just two problems. First, saving config changes doesn't always take. Second, apostrophies in the blog title aren't escaped. fix those and you have a winner.

This is an amazing little blogging software, surprised that it is not more popular! Very simple, lightweight with a tiny footprint, but everything you need to make a blog! If simple, sweet, modern, and practical is all you need this is perfect.
